I was almost done with creating the new bean, but some exceptions occured. As per one of your comment I tried to install JVM and Tomcat both once again, but still has the same exception. Following is my configuration. JBOSS - 4.0.3 SP1 TomCat - 4.1.31 Java - 1.4.2_10 Please let me know if there is some other issue. Here is the exception which I have received. javax.servlet.ServletException at org.apache.jasper.runtime.PageContextImpl.handlePageException(PageContextImpl.java:498) at org.apache.jsp.firstEJB_jsp._jspService(firstEJB_jsp.java:82) at org.apache.jasper.runtime.HttpJspBase.service(HttpJspBase.java:92)
